Barefoot under the sun is where I'm happy. Barefoot under the sun is where I have met amazing people, surfed crystal clear waves and walked the most beautiful landscapes.

Basically all the core memories of my life were made barefoot. Besides that, it also describes the kind of lifestyle I keep chasing.

The kind of life/place where you spent so much time without shoes, you end up in the supermarket and forget that sometimes you're supposed to have them on.

Can't imagine me showing up barefoot in a supermarket in Antwerp? Neither can I, and that's exactly my point.​

But... why this blog? 

First of all I like to write. The idea to start a blog has been on my mind on and off, so now that I had some spare time I thought why not? It can be the start of something bigger without having to figure out immediately which direction it is supposed to go.

Besides that, the first retreat that I'm hosting is open for bookings and I needed a clear platform (other than social media) to communicate this through.

I hope this blog will not only become a booking platform but a source that you can use when you are planning your next trip or when you're in need of. some (travel) inspiration.
